Nastia AI Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
Privacy doesn't live in the small print on Nastia AI. In plain language, this page lays out what we collect when you stop by, why, the legal footing for it, and the control you keep over your own information.
We've kept the legalese to a minimum. If a line reads murky, just ask — the fastest path to a human is the Contact page.
Who we are, and who's in charge of your data
This is an independent editorial and comparison site about AI companion apps, written for adults. We review other people's products; we don't build them. In data-protection terms, the controller for anything collected here is Nastia AI, reachable at [email protected]. How the work is funded sits in the Affiliate Disclosure.
What we collect
Information reaches us two ways — what you deliberately hand over, and what gets logged on its own as you browse.
- What you give us. Email us or fill in a form and we receive whatever you decide to include: a name, an address to reply to, the body of your message.
- What's logged automatically. As on nearly every site, we record basic technical details — a rough location inferred from your IP, your browser, the pages you open, the site that sent you. Cookies do most of this lifting; the complete list and the off switches are in the Cookie Policy.
We don't ask for sensitive personal data and would have no use for it, so please keep it to yourself.
The legal grounds we lean on
We don't process data just because it's possible. Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR every use needs a lawful basis, and ours come down to three: consent for non-essential cookies and analytics, which you're free to refuse or pull back at any time; legitimate interest in running a secure, relevant site that actually works; and legal obligation for the rare moments the law requires us to keep or hand over something.
How we put it to use
Plainly: to keep the site running and to sharpen it — serving pages, seeing which guides readers find worthwhile, squashing bugs, and writing back when you reach out. The broader rules for using the site are in the Terms of Service.
Affiliate partners and other parties
Click through to a product we feature and that company may set its own cookies and gather data under its own rules, which are out of our hands. We earn a commission on some of those clicks, as the Affiliate Disclosure explains and the Cookie Policy details. Some partners sit outside the UK and the EU; where data crosses a border it does so under the safeguards the law demands, such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your personal data.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you can ask to see the data we hold, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, take it elsewhere, or object to its use entirely. UK and EU readers hold these rights under the GDPR; readers in California have comparable ones under the CCPA. Using them costs nothing — write to [email protected] and we'll reply inside the window the law sets. If you think we've mishandled your information you can complain to a supervisory authority (the ICO in the UK, your national regulator across the EU), though we'd genuinely prefer you came to us first.
How long we keep it, and how it's kept
We hold personal data only while there's a reason to: emails for the life of a conversation and a sensible stretch afterward; analytics fades out in aggregate. What we store is protected with reasonable technical measures, while we're honest that no site is ever perfectly secure — that caveat, among others, sits in the Disclaimer.
Children
This is an adults-only Nastia AI resource, never aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a child has been in touch, let us know and we'll erase it.
Updates and getting in touch
Laws move and so do we, so this policy is revised now and then; the date up top always marks the live version. For who's behind the site, see About Us; for anything privacy-related, email us or use the Nastia AI site's Contact form.
